ABOUT US

Smith Family Racing was founded in 1985 by Chuck Smith Jr., who built the team’s reputation competing on the dirt ovals of Colorado National Speedway and Rocky Mountain Speedway until his retirement in 1997.

Today, that legacy continues with third-generation drivers Jacob and Jordon Smith, piloting the #13 and #89 Modifieds. The next generation stepped in during 2023, when Nora Smith took the wheel of the #29 Bandolero, marking the team’s fourth generation of racers. In 2025, Addie Smith will continue that tradition, joining the lineup as the driver of the #8 Bandolero.

From its roots on Colorado dirt tracks to a growing multi-generation team, Smith Family Racing remains driven by passion, perseverance, and a commitment to carrying the family name forward—one lap at a time.
